About Wall Decor's "Camille Pissarro" Collection
Camille Pissarro (July 1830 - November 1903) was a Danish-French Impressionist painter.  He was widely considered a father figure to the majority of Impressionist artists, as well as to several major Post-Impressionists.  The vast majority of his paintings were inspired by natural outdoor settings - particularly in France.  Pissarro works were normally completed in one sitting as this statement from him shows;  "Work at the same time upon sky, water, branches, ground, keeping everything going on an equal basis and unceasingly rework until you have got it. Paint generously and unhesitatingly, for it is best not to lose the first impression."
